Well, forget where or why this was mentioned (maybe just on Faibanx MUCK), but I'm going through an old closet at home I haven't been through in a decade, and look what I found. Still no sign of the Hallmark threat letter, but I think that one I put in a frame so it may be in a box out in the garage. :)

But this is the backup BEFORE the threat; a warm-up; a crescendo; a rising action--call it whatever you call it because this is gonna get juicy.

Ah, 1992. When paper was still required for written conversation.

Somewhere I actually also have a response from Nintendo of America, because I sent a letter for some reason.

Ah, standard PR responses are great. At least that one is fairly decent. I've e-mailed places before only to get a form letter back that no only isn't useful, but came from someone who obviously didn't read or understand what I wrote in the first place, because it addresses an entirely different problem.

In any case, digging through old closets is fun. Found all the Khan material from "ConFurence East, 1995", the first Khan I ever attended (and practically the last). Dozens of names and (as Ahastar commented) Real-Life(tm) letters from people who requested they get a copy of that music I made back in that era. Who here remembers Tremour, or Benjamin, the blind HML member? :)
