Very nicely done. And in my opinion, Photoshop is about as good as drawing programs get - it's the input method that makes all the difference. You'll find a tablet far easier to use than a mouse, for instance!

Thanks, I've never been good at drawing by hand. Photoshop makes it kind of tough, especially when you are trying to draw a curved line. What I'm better at is video, but I only edit existing videos people upload. I've haven't uploaded a lot of them because technically they're not mine. Eventually if I get better with Photoshop I might be able to make my own.

By the way, I sent you an e-mail to the email address on your website. I wanted to know if you had a higher resolution version of the Rexar Temple Animation. I was wondering if you would let me edit it, and I don't need to post it if you don't want me too. I just like to practice with different videos in Adobe After Effects to help me get more familiar with the program.

Follow the Tyrannosaurus advice though - if you are at all serious about drawing, you NEED a tablet. You can't do anything but pixel art with a mouse - ask RavenClaw, ask Drethenzai, ask Diablo, ask me, ask every other artist that ever came past here: The moment they picked up a tablet, they started to actually do art.

I can say a tablet is a great addition but I myself still prefer to draw on paper (with a plain ol' cartridge pencil nonetheless =w=) usually I scan and ink my drawings directly in photoshop afterwards and then I use the pen tool for the ink lines. (I use my tablet solely for shading\painting sadly. =P)

Keep in mind that I'm not a professional artist so... don't follow my way of working \ advice. XD

Any paticular tablet recommended? Plus, is there a special pen you casn buy for it?

I can recommend the Wacom Bamboos - and usually, a tablet is coming with a suiting pen.

I've got some extra tablets here if money is tight.

I have an Wacom Intuos 4 and professional grade feels amazing. But I had the first generation Bamboo and it did very well knowing that I didn't have dead pixels on the surface nor have a need for batteries to stuff into the stylus. One of my pictures I posted here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=487&hilit=instrument used the bamboo and now with the 2nd generation tablets, the pressure sensitivity has doubled and the recognition threshold decreased down to a nuance-precision of 1 gram. Although the only "medium" sized tablet I see on the Bamboo series is the Bamboo Create valued at $200. If you don't need to do strokes via elbow or arm, a small or medium size will do. Otherwise you'll have to look into the Intuos series and you could get away with the Intuos3 as they have very large sizes to accommodate the arm strokes.
