I've been lurking around for a long time, but now I'm showing myself here in the furry community. I love scalies and always have, though at the moment I'll admit to having a little...species confusion. I can't figure out what I am!

Anyway. I'm here and some other places, too - I look forward to chatting!

I know that kind of position, trying to figure out what kind of furry you are--it could be what attracts you, your personality to match, someone you wish you wanted to be or be with, whatever it may be. You'll find one somehow.

Did I mention that lizards and reptiles are really AWESOME?

Just go with what you seem to love the most, or better, what seems to be the most like you. Seek for certain traits in animals and dragons and such that you seem to share.

Scalies are indeed a fucking awesome bunch. But there are some other reptilianesque species out there as well

Yeah, welcome to the insanity.

And as ESC has pointed out, you don't have to choose the creature you love best as your avatar / fursona / furry presence. You can be whatever you like and still love raptors best.
Coming to think of it, a lot of likings/fetishes require you to be the counterpart of what you like best anyway to enjoy it. Like macro/micro, sub/dom, trampler/doormat, ...
