Been a real long time since I've done any poetry so I thought maybe I should give it a try again. I made this one today since my scaly life is pretty much secret *chuckles* Hope you enjoy reading it.

Secrets

Secrets are found all over this land
Long and hard do they stay unknown
We stay in the dark never seeing light
Must it live on deep within us
Will secrets ever come out
Could it break us to ever tell
Might it hurt us when we tell
Words tell all secrets stay secret
Things known sometimes stay unknown
Thoughts to tell will never tell
Knowing to stay silent continues
Silence covers the secret
Secrets may be found again
Feelings could come again

I personally liked everything save the first 2 lines, I disliked them enough to think the poem wasn't worth reading... when for the third time I tried reading it whole, and finally did, I quite liked it.

It's good to find someone who too writes poetry, and has the courage to post it. May you have a great time venting your frustrations with it. And thanks for sharing, I really liked it, just not the beggining :}
