Hey there, it's your watery dragon again.

I'm starting something like an exercise-buddy group.

This training is for anyone who wants to get fitter and have a few buddies to train with, long-distance. It's a no-pressure thing, you train only if you want to, when you can. The idea is that we all set up workouts for each other, go do them, and post on the forums our results or simply whatever we've done for the day! Any questions you got, ask away. I'll answer them as best I can, and if not point you somewhere for a better answer...hopefully. ^_^;

Everyone will be exercising at different levels of endurance and intensity, so it's perfectly fine if you might only do a few 15 minutes of exercise a couple times a week or two hours of it, twice a day Everyone's different, but we're all working out together with the goals of being healthier, stronger, fitter...and building up a little self-confidence and pride along the way. The main thing is, if you've tried getting started before and couldn't stay in it, or haven't been able to start at all, maybe sharing your exercise and experience with fellow LD5ers can getcha going. And this is to push me as much as anyone else who's interested.

I'm certain I'm missing a few details, but that's the core of the whole idea. Oh, and a quick disclaimer: I offer you no professional advice or certified-anything. All this is based on my own experience swimming and doing a little cross-training and stuff, and whatever you bring to the table too. Get a checkup before you start if you're worried you'll blow your heart or something...and it doesn't take much work to get a good exercise session in.

I'm definitely game. I'm figuring on spending some time with the exercise bike & treadmill to get my endurance up before moving up to the pool.

Well, you're free to suggest and do any kind of exercising really. Running, cycling, lifting weights or calisthenics, *any sport* (like soccer is great)... even outdoor work or chores can benefit you.

High grav, I don't know. This is going to be for real-life exercise and fitness...maybe you could strap weights to your legs, but that just isn't the same as higher gravity...But thanks for looking and posting. If you want to get in shape, or in better shape, you're welcome to join!
