Well, it's not much, but I'm starting to plan out how the new project file structure will be, and work on some of the things that will be in the .INI files that determine how stuff is defined...characters, objects, levels, special effects.

It's also made me realize I have to come up with a editors...level editor, object editor, character editor...so I'll probably start coding those first. And when I mean editor, I don't mean a substitute for trueSpace. I mean something that takes the raw .X model and determines how it fits into the game...scaling, rotation, behavior, etc. So the next phase is to determine how the .INI files work, how I want the engine to work, so then I can start making it.

Will the new vesion use 3DS files & so forth like the old one ?

If so I can give you a 3DS file & skin to use....

I never did figure out how to get a tail added to my 3DS werewolf mesh....

I don't think it's going to use 3DS files directly, but I can certainly use them!
