Being Macro isn't as easy as you might think, Blood pressure must rise or you black out when you stand up, paws and wings must grow more than one's body or you will sink into the ground, or lose the ability to fly. The problem bing that your body volume increases by the third power, while foot and wing area increase by the second.

You body must have ways to remove excess heat build up, breathing and circulation become harder and must be improved. Lung area to lags behind body growth so they must get bigger, better or both. Most of all the more massive you are the bigger your limb bones and spine must be to take the weight, or you must improve bone strength.

Passing these tests and moving on, at exceptional sizes the nervous system becomes problematic. Stand on a thorn and you won't know till next thursday!

Well I'm back and I been thinkin'

Imagine how Godzilla must feel. Well over 100 meters (328 feet) tall. another hard fact is at that size, you have no one to hang with, let alone a relationship. Consolation and Revenge did work around that problem for the atomic dinosaur, and for those of you who read it, he's living the good life

The Dark God.

I'm almost positive the macros out there today don't think too much about their body structure, not unlike normal-sized things. :]

I have thought long about a 20 metters dragon able to fly which is not phisically impossible. The only thing that stops those animals from existing is the fact that they can't be made of what all our known living beings are made of: carbonmade muscles, water for reactions, etc. You need something made of something completely different, something definitively unlike a living being arisen just from the evolution alone; instead they would be beings MADE to be that way, on purpose, oh yes =)

Anyways, in the Imaginary Universe, Giants can be as huge as that universe, and can choose to have or not have those problems (the ones described above). Isn't that great?, and they can even size-change without experiencing any problem... sweet ^__^
Any imaginary giant willing to grab my planet in a claw and lick it?, I wouldn't mind it ^_^

IMAGINATION ENCIRCLES THE WORLD!

But would'nt that cause some serious problems for the planet that's being licked on?

In an Imaginary Universe you don't have any problem you don't want to have ^_~ If you already ignored A LOT of laws (including the law of gravity) to imagine a Dragon as big as Uranus, who said one can't ignore some other laws that would imply the planet would end completely destroyed? ;>

Why not just imagine all the littlelings being licked enjoy loads of pleasure and if the surface of the planet gets damaged it repairs in a short while? XD It is Imagination!!, as chaotic as the hole of the rabbit!!.

Akisame looks at foxlover. He grows so big that by every right you should be able to see his molecules - but maybe he's just gaining more of those. From somewhere.

First, he gives foxlover a big SLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURP. Somehow knowing *where* he is, and *somehow* managing not to swallow him, or completely drown him in saliva, in the process.

Then he turns to a nearby planet, and flattens it between his paws. Mountains stick up dark against the surface, which seems to be oozing magma all over the place - assuming it had a hot core - and Aki takes a bite out of it. "Mm. Chocolate chip." ^_^

EDIT: And now the forum seems to be suffering from the physical improbability of my growth. At least on my end, my name and a broken-link image shows up at the end of foxlover's sig, and there's an extra square column to the right, the cell aligned with foxlover's post having my 'quote' and 'edit' buttons. This may just be firefox. But it hasn't happened before!

It is possible for the creature to have hollow bones and a thin frame similar to that of avian dragons.

additionally, a skeleton that has a high carbon content is much better than one with calcium.

So says the man with the duct-taped mouse
